Centre for Education and Research on Violence Against Women and Children, Western University

The organization will partner with Unifor to support employees in the hospitality, gaming and airlines industries to address workplace sexual harassment in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. An initial research phase will assess the needs and priorities for employees who have experienced workplace sexual harassment. In consultation with Unifor representatives who assist employees with the complaint process, insights will be gained on what resources would be useful for these employees.  Public legal education and information resources will be developed, along with a public education program and tools and guides to prevent sexual harassment.
