Prince Edward Island Human Rights Commission

Prince Edward Island Human Rights Commission will increase public awareness and knowledge on sexual harassment in the workplace and how to respond through the implementation of a public awareness campaign and education for employers and youth. Training will be developed and delivered to employers, who will be encouraged to assume a leadership role in creating and maintaining safe and inclusive workplaces, and will be designed to address prevention, identifying and investigating sexual harassment. Employers and employees will be informed through training and awareness campaigns of their obligations and responsibilities. Additionally, the organization will work with secondary schools to develop resources and education opportunities within schools to prepare them for entering the workforce.
