The Help and Legal Centre of Northumberland

20 legal clinics from across Ontario will take a coordinated approach to providing legal information and advice and public legal education on sexual harassment in the workplace. They include 8 legal clinics from South-West Ontario (Elgin-Oxford/Huron-Perth, Windsor, Chatham-Kent, Brant County, Gray-Bruce, Waterloo, Niagara and Sarnia), 8 legal clinics from Eastern/Central Ontario (Northumberland, Belleville, Oshawa, Peterborough, Perth, Renfrew, Simcoe/Haliburton/Kawartha Lakes and the Vanier Francophone clinic in Ottawa) and 4 from Northern Ontario (Algoma in Sault Ste. Marie, Keewaytinok, Sudbury and Kinna-aweya in Thunder Bay). Resources being available across Ontario is especially important to residents living in rural or remote communities. These 20 clinics will use federal resources to produce legal education materials, hire staff to deliver the legal advice and services to clients as well as organizing and presenting at various educational sessions.
