Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick
Creating and maintaining safer work places for all individuals in New Brunswick is a priority of PLEIS-NB’s five-year public education project to prevent and address sexual harassment. We are working collaboratively with the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission (NBHRC). This Project recognizes the importance of identifying such intersectionality and addressing harassment in a holistic, collaborative and trauma-informed fashion. The first phase of this Project has been to conduct public consultations to better understand the barriers that vulnerable groups face and to incorporate their feedback and recommendations into the develop of training and resources that will be valuable for all employers and employees, as well as legal professionals.
